Brother Joseph Goodnight My Sweet is just beautiful.. and STRONG !! wow !!! Years ahead of its time ….the whole album is really quite a journey of lamentful heartbreak and an outpouring of warm soul but at the same time full of hope.
Its a perfect fit for the missing part to the jigsaw of life’s lyrical poetry.

Nina Walsh
Bright Lights & Filthy Nights

When producer Andrew Weatherall was in his ‘90s pomp, his wing-girl on the Sabres Of Paradise label was Nina Walsh who went on to become a wild-cat figure at the tougher end of British experimental techno. It’s a surprise, then, to put on her latest album and, instead of crunching beats, listen to delicate, sorrowful songs, often accompanied by cello. Walsh uses electronic tricks to create a sparse soundscape, amid which her simple, sad acoustic guitar songs float elegantly. Redolent of The Velvet Underground at their most downtempo, it’s a delightful artistic reinvention that’s as luscious as it is surprising.
